Ken Seyfert, president and CEO of Grace Brethren Investment Foundation (GBIF) in Winona Lake, Ind., has been selected to participate at the 30th annual CCDA (Christian Community Development Association) national conference to be held at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill., November 1-3. Seyfert will join other national business and religious leaders, including those from the Cleveland, Kresge, Prudential, Christian Community, and Southern Baptist foundations, among others.
CCDA is headquartered in Chicago and is focused on transforming and restoring local communities across the United States through Christian values. CCDA particularly seeks to inspire, train, and connect Christians to help restore under-resourced multi-cultural communities. This year’s conference is expected to have more than 6,000 people in attendance.
According to CCDA board member, Jerome Garciano, Seyfert’s selection to the conference was based upon his leadership in promoting extraordinary generosity towards Christian work on behalf of GBIF. GBIF is a national church extension fund of the Charis Fellowship (Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches). Over the past decade, GBIF has contributed millions of dollars to further Christian work through church planting, leadership development, and integrated ministries.
