Encompass Crisis Response, headed up by Barb Wooler, is organizing teams over the next four weeks to assist in clean up and relief efforts in western Kentucky. The area was hit by four tornados on Saturday, December 11, causing severe damage. Below is information on how you can get involved. This information originally appeared on Encompass’ website here.
Who would be crazy enough to travel to Kentucky the weekend before Christmas to help clear brush and tarp roofs before the rain and snow returns?
Well, as I heard a friend say recently, this is exactly the kind of thing that people who love God and love people do. The only thing worse than having to go help folks the weekend before Christmas is actually being the folks who are in desperate need of help the weekend before Christmas!
In the Charis Fellowship USA and Encompass World Partners, we represent thousands of people who love God and love people!
