Brad Powell, senior pastor of NorthRidge Church, in Plymouth, Mich. will be the keynote speaker during Equip07, the national conference of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. The conference meets from July 29 through August 3 in Winona Lake, Ind.
Powell has helped NorthRidge Church transition from a dying congregation who was locked in a pattern of cultural irrelevance, to an exciting, contemporary church that communicates God’s Word to people from every generation. The church has experienced a minimum of 20 percent growth annually for the past nine years and is presently ministering to more than 12,700 people in their weekend services. Last year alone, they saw more than 2,100 first-time decisions for Christ.
Designed as a training conference for leaders in local churches, Equip07 offers more than 30 classes ranging from seminary-style classes to workshops on practical ministries. An affordable “Senior Menu” is available and there are sports, arts, and music clinics for the kids. Registration may be made through the Fellowship Coordinator’s office by calling (574) 269-1269 or see www.equip07.com.
Equip07 is one of three conferences available this summer for individuals who seek spiritual growth, fellowship, or want to know more about Grace Brethren churches.
