
Lance Taylor will represent the Grace College Lancers in the 400-meter race at the 2014 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.
Grace College sophomore standout Lance Taylor will run for the Lancers at the 2014 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships this week.
Taylor qualified in the 400-meter race and will run in the preliminaries on Friday at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala. The sophomore set the school’s record in the 400 this spring when he crossed the finish line in 48.21 seconds at the Crossroads League Championships.
Taylor also qualified for NAIA Nationals in his freshman season, placing 12th nationally in the 4×800-meter relay team.
The NAIA Nationals are held from Thursday to Saturday. Taylor’s 400 trial race is scheduled for Friday at 3:50 p.m. The final race is set to start at 4:40 p.m.
