After a string of impressive victories, Grace College’s men’s basketball team has moved into the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.
The Lancers are in the “receiving votes” section of the poll thanks to a record of 11-4 (4-2 Crossroads League).
Grace has won five straight games, including back-to-back NAIA Top 25 upsets. The Lancers took down No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan and then-No. 20 St. Francis in consecutive outings.
The league is well-represented in the current NAIA poll with No. 1 IWU, No. 8 Marian, No. 19 Bethel, No. 24 St. Francis and Grace (RV). This is the first year since 1991 that the NAIA has moved to one division; the NAIA was two divisions from 1992-2020.
The Lancers will put their winning streak to the test on Saturday with a road game at Huntington (10-5). – from gclancers.com
