In June, Bob Fetterhoff, pastor of Grace Church, a Grace Brethren congregation in Wooster, Ohio, announced plans to step back from ministry.
Effective September 2017, Fetterhoff will step down as senior pastor of the church, a role where he has served for more than 30 years.
The church board has unanimously recommended that Nick Cleveland be recommended as the senior pastor candidate for the church. Nick has served as youth pastor, leader of student ministries, director of the NextGen team, and teaching pastor. In June 2016, the congregation will vote to confirm God’s call and the recommendation of the board that he serve as senior pastor. Following that vote, Nick and Bob will serve in a cooperative way until Fetterhoff steps down in September 2017.
After September 2017, Bob expects to continue to be involved at the church, with roles in mentoring, teaching, and pastoral care. He will also continue to lead trips to Israel.
In the video below, Bob shares more about the future plans for he and his wife, Roxanne, and the church.
