Teen girls urged to make ‘life matter’
Teen girls will be inspired to dream about a future that has endless possibilities when Kirsten Hart speaks to them at Teen Encounter.
The night of pizza and girl time will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. April 19 at Grace Fellowship Activity Center, Leamersville Campus, 14 Brethren Lane, Duncansville. Praise and worship will be led by Josiah Weaver.
The event is for girls in grades six to 12. Youth leaders and mothers are also welcome. Advance tickets are a $10 donation and $12 at the door (if available). Information on how to obtain tickets is at the end of this story.
“Teens are fantastic,” said Hart. “They are amazing and full of promise. I am very pro-teen.”
Hart, a singer, author and television host, also associates with teenagers by serving as a high school substitute teacher. It’s been a side job for 14 years, she said.
