Word has been received of the Tuesday death of Pastor Lester W. Kennedy, who led the Fairlawn Grace Brethren Church in Radford, Va., for many years. Prior to that, he and his wife, Lois, served as missionaries in the Central African Republic.
Pastor Kennedy, Lois, and their daughter, Judy, had been diagnosed with COVID-19. (See Prayer Requested for the Kennedys.) He has been hospitalized since early November. Judy is also recovering in the hospital. Lois is recovering at home.
