Recordings of the recent seminar on “Challenging pastors to teach and apply scripture in our post-modern culture,” hosted by the Mid Atlantic District of Grace Brethren Churches Ministerium on March 17, 2014, are now available, according to Larry Weber, pastor of the Grace Brethren Church, Waynesboro, Pa., who introduced the program and served as the master of ceremonies. Valley Grace Brethren Church, Hagerstown, Md., hosted the seminar, which was attended by 30 pastors and guests from Grace Brethren congregations and other evangelical churches.
Dr. John Munro, Bible teacher on Back to the Bible radio broadcast, and senior pastor of Calvary Church, Charlotte, N.C., led the seminar.
A native of Scotland, John graduated Edinburgh University, Scotland. He practiced law in Scotland before moving to the U.S. to begin his theological studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He also served churches in Pittsburgh, Pa.; Michigan; and Nova Scotia. Dr. Munro has a passion for the exposition of the Word of God.
Below are two links to the recordings. The second includes a question and answer period, plus a brief presentation by Ryan Amidon, an associate pastor at Calvary Church for Senior High students.
