Momentum Ministry Partners, a national ministry of the Charis Fellowship, has a mission to prepare today’s young Christian leaders for tomorrow’s opportunities. Each summer for the last several decades, Momentum has sent students on teams to various locations for ministry opportunities. While the name and look of Travel Teams has evolved over the years, the mission has remained the same: to equip students for ministry through hands-on training and experience.
Momentum has announced three Travel Teams opportunities for the summer of 2022. Travel Teams are open to students from eighth grade to high school graduate. Below is information on dates, locations, and how to apply.
Pacific Team, June 14–July 5 in California
The Momentum Urban Center in Los Angeles will serve as the home base for this team. Students will receive traditional ministry training and participate in service opportunities in multiple settings.
Worship Specialty Team, July 5–July 19 (with youth conference, July 19–24) in Ohio & Indiana
Worship leading, programming, and performing are key parts of this team’s focus. Students on this team participate in the the worship camp being offered at youth conference.
Children’s Ministry Specialty Team, July 5–July 19 in Ohio & Indiana
Students who serve in their church kids ministry are the perfect candidates for this team as it focuses on reaching and teaching children.
