Chaplain (1LT) Cameron Michael graduated from the Chaplain Basic Officer Leader Course on April 13. He and his wife, Kerrie, and their daughter, Rylee, will report as an Army chaplain to the 27th Engineer Battalion (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, NC. Pray for them as they transition to active duty and begin ministry in this fast-paced and high-stress environment. Upcoming events for them include three weeks of training at the Airborne School, and many field training exercises.
Michael is a graduate of Grace College (B.S. Biblical Studies) and Grace Theological Seminary (M.Div. Exegetical Studies). Until recently, he served as pastor of the Paulding, Ohio, campus of Grace Community Church and was ordained by Grace Community Church of Fremont, Ohio (Kevin Pinkerton, senior pastor).
Chaplain (COL) Mark Penfold, his wife, Robin, and Chaplain (MAJ) Billy Graham had the privilege of being at the graduation banquet and ceremony with the Michael’s. (See feature photo.)
