LANCASTER COUNTY, PA – Three Lititz area teenagers were charged Thursday with desecrating numerous headstones at the Moravian Church Cemetery in May, causing nearly $3,000 damage.
The arrests were among several church-related incidents state and local police were involved in during recent days.
The exterior of the historic Old Zion Church in Elizabeth Township was spray-painted by vandals last week, police said, and burglars broke into New Holland Grace Brethren Church early this morning.
Lititz Borough Police Detective John Schofield announced the arrest of the trio of teenagers today in connection with the extensive vandalism on May 24.
