Registration is open for North of 55 at Ashland (Ohio) Grace on Saturday, April 13, 2019.
This year’s event for seasoned adults will feature Axis, a deeply Biblical ministry team that supports parents and grandparents to disciple their students in a life time of faith in Jesus. (They have ministered at Momentum Conference.) The purpose of the one-day conference is to help participants see the world that our children and grandchildren are embracing, and to provide tools to engage them.
Two breakout sessions with question and answers will be led by AXIS staff. There will also be other sessions on a variety of topics of significance, including Memory Loss: Should I Be Worried? with Dr. Roger Snyder; Getting Your Financial House in Order, with Matthew Harris, financial advisor; and The Grand in Grandparenting, with Pastor Bob and Julie Combs with Rich and Elaine Hess.
The doors will open at 8:45 a.m. Registration/check-in begins at 9 a.m. The gathering will go from 9:30 a.m. until about 3:00 p.m. and will include a box lunch from Buehler’s.
The conference is designed for parents and grandparents, and anyone who cares about raising up the next generation, such as youth workers and Sunday School teachers.
To register, go to ashlandgrace.org/events. The cost is $25 per person, and everyone is encouraged to register as soon as possible. Same-day registration will be available at $30 per person.
To go along with the wonderful fellowship, worship will be led by Nancy Messner and Judy Chenowith. Beverage and snacks will be provided throughout the day.
Ashland Grace is located at 1144 W Main, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
The event is underwritten by the Grace Brethren Investment Foundation and the NorthEast Ohio Charis Churches. See the video below for more information.
