Eliza Mae Clark
Eliza Mae Clark, 85, of Coldwater, Mich. formerly of Peru, died on November 13, 2008 at Maple Lawn Care Center in Coldwater.
She was born in Miami County, Ind. to Charles and Grace (Fouts) Overly on September 16, 1923. On September 16, 1939 she married Marion D. Clark, and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1989.
Eliza was a member of Peru (Ind.) Grace Brethren Church.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law Alice Clark, Tekonsha, Mich.; a daughter, Susan Saunders and husband Norman Scott, Yuba City, Calif.; niece Geraldine Pries Schuler and husband John, North Manchester; a nephew, Don Pries and wife Marty of Kokomo; a half brother, Dave Overly and wife Alice, Peru; a brother-in-law, Dale Clark and wife Rose, of Lafayette; a sister-in-law, Eileen Sullivan and husband Ellis of Peru; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband; a son, Keith Clark; a daughter, Beverly Sue Clark; and one sister, Lavaughn Clupper.
Funeral services were held at Peru Grace Brethren Church, with Pastor Dave Jodry officiating. Burial followed at Chili Cemetery.

Dr. Paul Fredrick Fogle
Dr. Paul Fredrick Fogle, born in Washington, D.C., died at the age of 83 at his home in Tallahassee on June 27, 2008. Fogle was an evangelical minister who served five different churches, two of which he pioneered and was also a college and seminary professor. He served as president of the national ministerium of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches for one year. He traveled widely and taught the Bible on three continents. In his later years, he served as a minister-at-large and professor of Bible.
He held a Master of Theology degree, a Master of Arts degree and a Ph.D. awarded by the University of Human Sciences in Strasbourg, France. He wrote Bible study materials and magazine articles for over 35 years for the Union Gospel Press and wrote and published a book in 2003 on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
He served as a volunteer and board member for the local Child Evangelism Fellowship and Child Advocates of Tallahassee. He was a member of Kiwanis for 15 years.
He also became involved part time in real estate and developed Fogle Court off Old Bainbridge Road in Tallahassee.
Fogle is survived by his wife, Denise E. Fogle of Tallahassee, and his sister, Mary Davis of Sterling, Va. He was preceded in death by two sons, Neal and Victor, and is survived by three children: Beckie Johnson (Nick), Mark and Celeste. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Thomasville Road Baptist Church on July 2, 2008. Since he was a veteran of World War II, under the Maritime Commission and the U.S. Coast Guard, burial took place at the National Cemetery at Bushnell, Fla. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be offered as a memorial to Operation Mobilization of Tyrone, Ga., P.O. Box 444, Tyrone, GA 30290, or Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
