Approximately 150 people from about 30 Ohio Grace Brethren churches are attending an “On-Mission Seminar” today at the Grace Brethren Church of Columbus.
The day includes 12 seminars and is a half-day of equipping believers for local and cross-cultural ministry. Sponsored by Grace Brethren International Missions, it offers practical “how-to” workshops designed to sharpen ministry skills and work through the “nuts and bolts issues” of doing missions in and through the local church.
Today’s scheduled presenters include Jay Bell (Director of O-MT & I-USA Ministries of GBIM ); Silvia Totzke (Missions Mobilizer, the quest, Columbus, Ohio ); Woody Curtis (Missions Director , West Milton, OH GBC); Steve Edmonds (GBIM Board and Pastor Worthington Grace, Columbus, OH); Tim Farner (Overseer, Mission Advancement Team, Powell, OH GBC); Dan Green (Pastor of Global Ministries, Worthington Grace, Columbus, OH); Doug Jensen (Pastor of Missions, Norton, OH, GBC); Norm Johnson (Pastor of Missions, Ashland, OH GBC); Fenton McDonald (GBIM Board and Pastor, Pataskala, OH, GBC); Tom Peters (Minister of Cross-Cultural Missions, Wooster, OH, GBC); Mark Saunders (GBIM Board and Pastor, Dayton, OH, First GBC); Larry Totzke (Thequest, GBIM board).
