Grace College’s women’s golf team wrapped up the 2020 NCCAA National Championships on Wednesday.
The Lady Lancers placed third in the field, led by Carolyn Pacocha. The sophomore earned All-American status with her eighth-place finish, completing the week with a scorecard of 71-83-83.
Pacocha is the third NCCAA All-American in program history, joining Young and Sydney Abbott.
For the week, Grace produced a three-round total of 968. That total marks the second-lowest 54-hole score in program history; it was also nine strokes better than last year’s NCCAA Nationals (when Grace won the national championship).
The NCCAA also honored four Grace players for academic achievements. Harvey, Hawes, Young and Olivia Shaw were given Scholar-Athlete status by the NCCAA.
