The leaders of two Fellowship of Grace Brethren national and cooperating ministries were honored January 20, 2011, by the Kosciusko County (Indiana) Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Ronald Manahan, president of Grace College and Seminary, received the Chamber’s “Man of the Year for 2011” award, while Jeff Carroll, chief executive officer at Grace Village Retirement Community, received the “Employer of the Year” award on behalf of the Village.
On the Move
Dru Dodson has joined Go2 Ministries as director of integrated ministries. He will lead Go2’s Integrated Ministries Initiative, which seeks to partner U.S. and international churches/church networks.
Ron Sheranko has left a staff position at First Grace Brethren Church of Dayton, Ohio, to become a church planter in nearby Tipp City, Ohio. The new church, called The Bridge, began meeting in February at Broadway Elementary School. For more information, see thebridgetippcity.com.

Sibley Marvin Edmiston, 89, Winona Lake, Ind., December 25, 2010. He was a former Grace Brethren missionary and pastor.
Halcyon S. Palmer, 98, Wooster, Ohio, December 27, 2010. She was the last living charter member of Grace Brethren Church, Wooster, Ohio.
J. Ward Tressler, 94, Fremont, Ohio, January 9, 2011. He was a Grace Brethren pastor for 64 years.
William Leroy Walker, 78, Winona Lake, Ind., December 14, 2010. He served as a medical missionary to the Central African Republic.
Russell M. Ward, 96, Englewood, Ohio, December 29, 2010. The founding pastor of the Basore Road Grace Brethren Church, Englewood, Ohio, he was a Grace Brethren pastor for more than 60 years.
