Dr. Francois Ngoumape, shown here with his wife, Claire, will be the main speaker for an African youth conference to be held at James Gribble High School at Yaloke in the Central African Republic beginning this Monday.
Prayer is requested for the nearly 600 African young people who are expected to attend, many needing to travel through and from areas where there is great safety risk and insecurity.
In an e-mail today, Dr. Ngoumape, who directs the Bible schools and seminary at Bata in the CAR, sends along this personal note and prayer request:
“Please pray that the Lord may use me efficiently to challenge our young people during youth conference next week. The conference last year had a great impact among our young people in the whole district. I keep receiving notes from many of them giving testimony of how this conference changed their life, in their family, and the church, praise God.
“As result, among our 40 new students for the Bible Institute next year, 12 attended youth conference last year and it is there that they became motivated for the ministry.”
