Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.” (Luke 14:23)
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:14-15)
Pray for Charis Fellowship congregations that are located in rural communities. Pray that they would be a transforming force in their community as they preach the gospel.
Rural churches are often small churches. Pray that they would not become discouraged by their size, but rather focus on the needs of the people around them to know and love Jesus.
