Grace College and Theological Seminary President Bill Katip suffered a stroke earlier this week while in Indianapolis. His wife, Debbie, gave permission to share the following update and prayer request:
Bill has no paralysis but weakness on left side and will need some physical therapy. His mind, sweet spirit, loving personality, and humor are intact. Plans are to transfer him to an in-patient rehab hospital at Ft Wayne Lutheran for more intensive therapy. The staff at KCH has been phenomenal and we are receiving first-class treatment from the staff and Dr Coates. Even the CEO Jay Dale popped in to say hi and check to see if we were receiving good treatment! Even the food is great—Bill orders 3 hot meals a day, eats every bite, and looks around for more! Bill wants to thank you for your prayers and to pray especially for more strength and contentment in needing assistance in basic functions. Thanks for your love and concern.
