A dialogue for peace and reconciliation, scheduled by the government of the Central African Republic (CAR), the African Union, and the United Nations, is taking place in Khartoum, Sudan, between the government and leaders of 14 rebels groups. The delegates arrived this week, the dialogue began yesterday, and will continue for 10 days.
CIDEL (Center International for the Development of Ethical Leadership) led by Dr. Augustin Hibaile, organized a day of prayer about the dialogue on January 23 with students from the University of Bangui. Dr. Hibaile requests prayers from brothers and sisters around the world to intercede for those representing the population and the rebels in Sudan. Pray that God will bring all minds together in understanding the importance of living without violence.
Dr. Hibaile thanks you for your prayers “on behalf of the Central African Republic, where we are tired with the war, the violence, and the killing that is still going on.” – from Encompass World Partners
