The family of Tom Julien is hosting a casual reception to celebrate his 90th birthday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, in the courtyard of the Winona Lake, Ind., Grace Brethren Church. Stop by and say hello to Tom. No gifts, please.
In order to make Tom’s birthday more memorable, you may send him a note, remind him of an experience that the two of you shared, or tell him how his ministry impacted your life . . . and if you happen to have a photo from the time that you knew him, feel free to include that as well. Send messages and optional photos to terryljulien@mac.com (and copy beckyjschwan@gmail.com as a precaution). They will be printed and presented to him on his birthday, June 27.
With more than 60 years of ministry experience to his credit, Tom is pastor emeritus with Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, having previously served as pastor in discipleship and training. He served as executive director for Grace Brethren International Missions (now Encompass World Partners) from 1986 to 2000, and was a missionary in France from 1959 to 1986. From 1955 to 1958, Dr. Julien served as founding pastor of the Grace Brethren Church in Fort Wayne, Ind.
