Registration for the Flinch Conference, the 2015 national conference of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches, is now live at flinchconference.com.
The conference will be held July 23-26 at the Newark International Airport Marriott just outside of New York City. The three-day format reduces hotel and food costs for participants, while allowing many church leaders to take some extra, well-deserved time for themselves and their families.
As with the 2014 conference, sessions will follow a TED Talk format that incorporates more out-of-the-text teaching, challenges from “riskologists,” powerful worship, and much more!
Alan Hirsch, a South African-born missiologist, author, and a leader in the missional church movement, will be a keynote speaker. His recent book, Faith of Leap, speaks directly to the theme of Flinch Conference. Go2 Ministries is sponsoring Alan as the main speaker on Friday evening.
Also speaking will be Caesar Kalinowski, a church planter, missional strategist, and one of founding leaders of Soma Communities. He currently serves as the Director of the GCM Collective, an organization that helps catalyze missional community multiplication across North America.
In addition, Erica Shelton is back to lead Grace Kids and Scott Avey will once again lead worship.
On Saturday afternoon, conference participants will be encouraged to raise their risk quotient with a “riskursion.”
