Momentum is now accepting submissions for Momentum’s Got Talent 2019! MGT encourages students to continue developing skills such as videography, poetry, creative writing, media arts, graphic design, art work, spoken word, interpretive scripture memorization, dance, vocal solo, youth band, etc. Students enter MGT by creating and uploading a video of themselves performing whatever they are planning to present or registering artwork online that they are bringing.
Accepted entries include: vocal solo (any music style permitted), youth band, small vocal ensemble (2-6), large vocal ensemble (7-16), youth choir (17+), instrumental solo, orchestra/group instrumental, manual signing, dance (any God-honoring style permitted), pantomime, drama, mime, clowning, puppetry, interpretive scripture memorization, spoken word, art work (any type: painting, sculpting, drawing, photography, etc.), graphic design, film/documentary, media arts, videography, poetry, and creative writing.
Submissions are evaluated prior to Momentum by our MGT judge panel and accepted entries are asked to perform live at Momentum on Wednesday afternoon, July 17 in front of the panel. Students are given critique to continue encouraging and honing their talents.
Several Momentum’s Got Talent entries will be selected to present their talent in Momentum’s main sessions. Students may end up singing (for example) in front of 2,500+ people!
Submissions are accepted until June 1.
