Registration is now open for the Southwest Focus Retreat, to be held January 27-30 at Camp Lawrence Daley at Mt. Crags, Calabasas, Calif.
The retreat, for Charis Fellowship pastors and ministry leaders who are primarily from the southwest U.S., begins Monday afternoon with worship and concludes with a final session following breakfast on Wednesday morning.
Led by Phil Sparling, executive director of the Charis Fellowship and pastor of Auburn Grace Community Church, Auburn, Calif., the retreat will focus on God’s Word.
“God has given us such an incredible gift and tool: His Living Words,” says Phil. “God has spoken to humanity so as to be understood and to communicate about Himself to His creation. We have the privilege of being the unashamed workmen, regularly dispensing these Living Words. Let’s gather together to celebrate His Words, be challenged by them, refreshed in them, and better equipped to share them with our world.”

The retreat is one of five regional events that meet each year and is sponsored by the Charis Fellowship. The Central and East retreats were held in October. Future retreats include the South, to be held March 9 – 11, 2020, in Florida, and Northwest, scheduled for May 18 – 20, 2020, in Washington state.
