Bicyclists on the UD-ND Ride for Life tour will stop at Grace College and Seminary, Winona Lake, Ind., this weekend.
Sponsored by The Life Resource Centre and Dayton Right to Life, the four-day, 237-mile journey through the rolling countryside of Ohio and Indiana began Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the University of Dayton in Ohio. It concludes Saturday, August 3, 2013, at the Sacred Heart Parish Center on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.
The ride follows bike paths and rural state highways. Grace is hosting the stopover on Friday, Aug. 2 and will house approximately 30 cyclists in the Gordon Recreation Center. The evening will include dinner and a program featuring President Bill Katip speaking on his personal connection to the bicycle tour. Proceeds from the tour benefit the emergency baby pantry and three levels of parenting classes for The Life Resource Centre.
The Life Resource Centre (LRC) and Dayton Right to Life (DRTL) strive to protect the rights of the unborn, the elderly, the mentally handicapped, the disabled and the terminally ill through legislative efforts, education, outreach programs and research.
