Randall Ryssemus, 57, Cookeville, Tenn., died Saturday, February 7, 2015, at his home in Cookeville.
The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service is planned for a later date in Ottawa, Kan..
Mr. Ryssemus was born Friday, Oct. 25, 1957, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of James Ryssemus and Shirley Jones Ryssemus.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son. He was a graduate of Ottawa High School in Ottawa, Kan. He also attended Pittsburg State College in Pittsburg, Kan., and Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind., receiving his Bachelors in Theology. He pastored in Gray, Tenn., and was a camp director at Camp Tuck-a-Way in Blacksburg, Va., serving as moderator of the Blue Ridge District of Grace Brethren Churches.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Julie (Bloomer) Ryssemus, Cookeville, Tenn.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jessica Ryssemus and Shawne Brown, Nashville, Tenn., and Danielle (Ryssemus) and Jeppe Nelson, Bloomington, Ill.; son and daughter-in-law: Aaron and Amanda Ryssemus, Santa Barbara, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Kole, Ella Jane, Levi, Bowen, Ambrose, Audrey, and new baby; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Mary Lou Ryssemus, McAllen, Tex., and Steve and Cynthia Ryssemus, Bettendorf, Iowa.
