Dr. Sang-Bok David Kim Recognized for Dedication to Theology
Dr. Sang-Bok David Kim has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With more than 45 years of professional experience, Dr. Kim has served as pastor emeritus with the Hallelujah Community Church since 2010, having been a senior pastor since 1990. In addition, he has been president with the Torch Trinity Graduate University since 1997, having retired as president in 2015 and serves as Chancellor since then. Dr. Kim is Global Ambassador of the Transform World Network. From 1990 to 1997, he worked as the executive director of the Torch Center for World Mission and as a department chair and professor of systematic theology with Ashin Theological University and the Asian Center for Theological Studies and Mission, Korea. He was the founding pastor with Bethel Presbyterian Church, Ellicott, Maryland, USA, from 1979 to 1990, and a department chair and professor with Washington Bible College/Capital Bible Seminary, Lanham, Maryland, USA from 1977 to 1990. Earlier in his career, he was a professor with Indiana Christian University from 1972 to 1977, and an instructor with Grace College from 1972 to 1974.
