The election process has been completed for the Board of Trustees for Grace College and Seminary, Winona Lake, Indiana.
This was an unusual year in that there was only one incumbent, John Gregory, on the ballot. The other incumbents had reached term limit (five elected three-year terms, or 15 years) or for personal reasons had asked not to be nominated again. Those going off the Board were: Tom Avey, Ray Davis, Ralph Fitz, Gordon Stover, and Mike Workman.
There were seven new nominees approved by the Board and the corporation membership. All nominees were elected.
New members elected for a three-year term are: Brook Avey (Indianapolis, IN), Bill Burke (Dublin, OH), Charlie Kreider (Lancaster, PA), Janet Minnix (Roanoke, VA), Stefanie Pappas (Bluffton, IN), Todd Scoles (Dublin, OH), and Bob Vitoux (formerly of Warsaw, now living in Inverness, Scotland).
New members have been invited to the November 2-4 board meetings. A communication from the school noted, “We are pleased with the breadth of experience and insight this year’s elected trustees will bring to the Board.”
