The Southview church website also has information about the event:
Returning this season will be six tournament divisions, including elementary (grades 3-5), junior high (grades 6-8), high school (grades 9-12), adult, competitive family, and family fun. Divisions are based on the age or grade of the oldest member on the team.
The only change from last year’s tournament is dictated by how Independence Day falls this year. Before, the tournament would build up to the adult division, but now it will start with the adult tourney July 4, and then continue through Sunday, July 7.
Jason Taylor, a cowboy preacher from Texas, is the event’s keynote speaker and will be speaking 10 a.m. Sunday, July 7. Southview GBC will also have its annual community hog roast at 6 p.m. July 4.
