There is still time to register for Momentum 2015, which is less than a month away. The annual youth conference, which is sponsored by CE National, will be held July 14 to 19 at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind.
Students who attend Momentum will enjoy a week of sessions relating to issues pertinent to their daily lives. In addition, there will be opportunities for them to serve, as teams will be sent to partnering organizations located in the Marion area and surrounding communities to work with ON MISSION focus.
Numerous great speakers will be featured on and off the main stage. They include: David Nasser, Clayton King, Jeff Bogue, Sean McDowell, Keith Minier, Jackie Hill Perry, Naghmeh Abedini, Kondo Simfukwe, and Jim Brown. Have a look at these Power Trax Seminars offered at Momentum 2015.
Power Trax will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. These hour-long seminars will provide practical, Bible-based teaching around a topic. For example, Dan Cosentino will discuss “Knowing and Discerning God’s Will.” He will help students discover what God has for them. During “Science and the Bible,” Drs. Don DeYoung and Nate Bosch, of the Grace College Science Department, will explore subjects such as dinosaurs, the age of the earth, fossils, Noah’s flood, new species, and space discovers, as well as talk about Christian’s stewardship of the earth.
Other Power Trax speakers include Dr. Randy Smith, Phil Sparling, Kip Cone, Seth Nuzum, Barb Wooler, Ed Short, and Dr. Tiberius Rata. Click here for a full list of speakers and descriptions of the workshops they will lead.
