“Proclaim to your friends that Jesus died so they don’t have to,” Greg Stier challenged the nearly 2,000 teens and guests tonight at the opening session of Momentum 2012.
He encouraged the audience to “have Jesus eyes,” to see people with the compassion and hospitality that Jesus did.
The session was held in the Alumni Coliseum at the University of Eastern Kentucky in Richmond, Ky. Christian artist Aaron Keyes led worship for the evening.
Tomorrow kicks off with a morning session where Francis Chan returns to the Momentum platform after several years’ hiatus. Following a day filled with Power Trax, service projects, sports tournaments, and other opportunities, the evening session will feature Scott Williams.
