Drake, the all-time scoring leader for Grace College’s women’s basketball team, was named NCCAA First Team All-American and honorable mention for NAIA All-American. Stull was named NCCAA Third Team All-American.
Drake produced 19.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.4 steals per game in a memorable season.
She wrapped up her stellar career No. 1 in all-time scoring (1,981 points), No. 4 in rebounds (740) and No. 7 in assists (283). She is one of two players in program history to be top three in those three categories (Cheryl Myers, 1988-92).
Drake also set the program record for most points in a game when she scored 46 points in a win over Bethel.
Stull enjoyed a breakout season. The junior scored 585 points (18.3 per game), ranking third in the Crossroads League. She broke the program’s record for 3-pointers made in a season, drilling 106 triples (38 percent).
Stull scored at least 20 points 14 times, including a career-high 29 points against Mt. Vernon Nazarene.
The Lady Lancers were in the midst of arguably their best season ever. Grace finished the year with a 19-13 record, setting the record for highest winning percentage (.594). Grace was one win away from tying the all-time mark for wins in a season (20).
The season was ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 outbreak, canceling Grace’s appearance in the NCCAA National Championships. – from gclancers.com
