Here’s an update from Encompass World Partners on Sue Griffith, veteran Encompass staff member serving in France, who fell down a flight of stairs last week.
Thanks to everyone who is praying for Sue Griffith following her fall down a flight of stairs, for her husband Dave (who is beginning cancer treatment today), and their entire family. Here are the latest updates from Jessica (Griffith) Green’s Facebook page.
Saturday, September 12:
I just spoke to my dad and my brother. (My brother flew over there and will be with them for a week). The swelling on her brain has gone down and it seems as though she hasn’t lost any memory or mobility! PRAISE THE LORD.
They are still watching her closely because there is still a spot on her brain that is bleeding. It sounds like she fractured the side of her face and behind her ear and broke the bone in the front of her neck. She also has staples in the back of her head. TO HIM BE THE GLORY!
My dad is spending most of his time at the hospital (and starts his treatments on Monday) so please understand that he will not have time to answer emails or Facebook posts. But he thanks you for all your prayers and is so grateful that YOU care.

Thank you all for praying! I just talked to my dad and brother. They said my mom was more alert today (yay!!) The doctor will see her again Monday and we should have more news then! Until then…Thank you again for your kind words and prayers!
