Although published primarily for alumni of Grace, the 32-page full-color magazine is available to anyone by request, according to the editor, Judy Daniels (BA 72). She says, “If people don’t get the magazine and would like to receive it, just contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll be happy to put them on the list.” More than 18,000 now are on the list to receive the publication.
The current issue contains photos and reports of Grace’s spring commencement, but also uses the theme “Launching a Lifestyle of Ministry” to highlight a number of alumni who are serving the Lord in various capacities.
One feature story, for example, is entitled “God Transforms a Street Kid’s Life.” Written by Dr. Chuck Davis (BA72, CBS 73), it is the life story of Jesus Munoz, who directs Hispanic church-planting efforts for Grace Brethren North American Missions and also serves as a member of the board of directors for Grace College and Seminary.
Other articles feature summer ministries, the recent 500th-win honor given coach Jim Kessler, a report by Seminary Dean Jeff Gill on a study trip to Israel, and much more.
