The latest edition (summer, 2005) of the Grace Magazine, the quarterly magazine of Grace College and Seminary is now off the press and will be in the mail within the next few days.
Although published primarily for alumni of Grace, the 32-page full-color magazine is available to anyone by request, according to the editor, Judy Daniels (BA 72). She says, “If people don’t get the magazine and would like to receive it, just contact me at danielja@grace.edu. We’ll be happy to put them on the list.” More than 18,000 now are on the list to receive the publication.
The current issue contains photos and reports of Grace’s spring commencement, but also uses the theme “Launching a Lifestyle of Ministry” to highlight a number of alumni who are serving the Lord in various capacities.
One feature story, for example, is entitled “God Transforms a Street Kid’s Life.” Written by Dr. Chuck Davis (BA72, CBS 73), it is the life story of Jesus Munoz, who directs Hispanic church-planting efforts for Grace Brethren North American Missions and also serves as a member of the board of directors for Grace College and Seminary.
Other articles feature summer ministries, the recent 500th-win honor given coach Jim Kessler, a report by Seminary Dean Jeff Gill on a study trip to Israel, and much more.
I believe the Nostalgia pic
is of the day they moved all the books from the old Library to the new one, and wanted to keep them in order so put them in boxs, moved them in order to shelves and sent empties to be refilled, many hands sure made light work
