Want to make this the best Vision Conference ever?
Experience NYC by taking a Riskursion!
New York City is the epic center of our modern world. Millions of people have immigrated to this great city with the hope of finding a better life. The field is ripe for the harvest! All of the Riskursions were chosen with this years conference’s “Flinch” theme in mind. Come step out of your comfort zone and see how God is working in New City.
There are excellent excursions planned for you to experience God’s people taking risk to further the Gospel message among different neighborhoods of this world class city:
Albanian Immersion– Pastor Beni, an Albanian immigrant himself has obeyed the call to share the gospel with his own people in NYC. You will quickly fall in love with Pastor Beni and his passion to reach the Albanian people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Bowery Mission– For more than 100 years, this mission has been sharing the Gospel with the least of these by meeting their basic needs of food and shelter and preaching the Gospel seven days a week!
Flinch Food Adventure– NYC is a melting pot of many nations. One way to experience all the different cultures, is to eat their food! Bring your courageous appetites, as this one will be a lot of fun!
Ground Zero– This is place that represents the evil that exists in this world and how God can redeem it to bring glory to Himself. Come listen to a NYC Firefighter’s personal testimony of what it was like to minister to people in spite of such tragedy.
Melodies from Harlem– Harlem is a place of rich culture and we have one of our own Grace Brethren churches right in the heart of it. Come join New Horizon Church (Michel Faulkner, pastor) as they host a neighborhood gospel music concert.
Moving Towards Muslims– The Islam religion is rapidly spreading in the United States. Come experience what a Muslim believes and how to reach out to them with the love of Jesus.
The ‘International Express’-NYC is a rich melting pot of many immigrants trying to establish a better life for their families. This tour takes you on the different neighborhoods where different ethnic groups have immigrated. You’ll see a multi-ethnic opportunity to reach the nations right here on U.S. soil!
Times Square church– This church was founded on reaching out to people on the streets with the good news of Jesus Christ. They continue to this day to have a weekly impact for Jesus among thousands throughout NYC. Come and join hands with them in reaching out to youth in the South Bronx Neighborhood. — by Andrew Saunders
