Urban Hope Philadelphia is blessed with people from various churches who come to help. The team from Martinsburg, Pa., came to Urban Hope Philly the weekend of February 8-10. The group joined people from Urban Hope Community Church to do manual labor on Saturday.
The group from Martinsburg got to love on the homeless people in the Kensington area by giving them soup they had prepared and praying with their new friends. Some of the group were able to stay for the church services held at the Urban Hope Community Church. They stayed after the service to enjoy the lunch the church serves each Sunday.
The Philadelphia church certainly loves being able to build friendships with believers from visiting churches since it benefits everyone as they learn to build teamwork and love on one another. — from cenational.org
