Constantly remind yourself of the Love God has shown you. Christ died for you while you were still His enemy. He suffered and died so you could be forgiven and be adopted into His family as a son and blessed you with every spiritual blessing in heavenlies in Christ Jesus. He has given you everything you need for life and godliness and has promised to work all things together for good and conform you to the image of Jesus. Through Christ, you have been given everything you will ever need. There is nothing left to earn from God. He loves you with an everlasting love and will never love you more or less than He does right now. Because His love for you is so great, you can trust Him completely and surrender all you have and all you are to Jesus. Make it your one desire to listen to His voice and do the things He tells you. You have learned to pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Make it your prayer that His will be done first in you then you will be useful to God in helping others to do the same.
Don’t be afraid! Fear is a tool of the enemy to keep you from trusting in God. He has promised to be with you always and never to leave or forsake you so that you can be confident His power and His presence rests on you.
You are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which He prepared beforehand for you to do. God is constantly preparing you so that as He gives you opportunity you can be used of Him to touch others with His love and grace, impart His wisdom, snatch souls from the brink of destruction and consistently increase the good that is in the world. Only never forget that it is God who is at work in and through you.
As you witness God at work in your midst, seek to equip others to yield themselves to God. Help them to see the wisdom in laying aside their own desires and following Jesus wherever He would lead them. Every believer is indwelt by the Spirit of God and the Kingdom of God exists whenever a child of God surrenders to the will of God.
I have wanted more than anything else to inspire you to love and trust Jesus with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. As you have loved and trusted Him, He has led you to love others selflessly and to help those who are trapped in sin to find Christ and be set free. This life that Jesus has led you into is to be passed on to others who are to pass it to others as long as there are others to pass it on to.
To put it more bluntly…
Keep seeking and obeying Jesus.
Keep loving and encouraging those who know Him to do the same.
Keep reaching out to those who have yet to experience the blessings of salvation.
Until He comes,
Phil
