Tree of Life Bookstore has relocated and rebranded just in time for the 2016-17 school year. The store will now be called the Grace College Campus Store and will be located in the Gordon Recreation Center, 100 Publishers Dr., Winona Lake. The store will open Saturday in an enclosed area in the Center’s lobby.
Tree of Life Bookstore was previously located in the Brethren Missionary Herald building at 1104 Kings Highway, Winona Lake. The building was sold earlier this year to the Winona Lake (Ind.) Grace Brethren Church (Bruce Barlow, lead pastor).
The Campus Store will exclusively sell Grace College apparel and gifts; these products can also be purchased at wlancergear.com. Due to space constraints, the store will not operate a coffee shop or other food and beverage service. Normal hours of operation will be Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Textbook delivery and returns will remain largely unchanged. Books will be delivered to the dorm rooms of on-campus students; commuter students and students who add or drop classes will pick up and drop off books in Gordon Recreation Center room 155. Students who do not qualify for free textbook rentals may place orders online at wgracecampusstore.com.
Grace College is also pleased to announce that Sarah Fredericks, a Grace graduate and long-time employee of the bookstore, will be the store manager. Fredericks will oversee day to day operations of the store. “We are excited to have Sarah manage the store,” said A.J. Schemmer, Tree of Life store training manager. “Sarah knows our operations well and she will be a great leader for the new Grace College Campus Store.”
