For the ‘quads,’ graduation is bittersweet

The Engle brothers, also known as the “quads,” take a moment together Friday before the graduation ceremony at Lima Temple Christian School High School.
Michael, Daniel, Joseph and Joshua have been affectionately known as “the quads” since birth. The quadruplet brothers will soon be staking out their own identities as they part ways for college and trade school in two cities.
But the Engle brothers won’t be too far from one another: Daniel and Joseph, the youngest, are headed to Winona Lake, Ind., where they will study elementary education and business administration at Grace College.
Michael and Joshua, meanwhile, plan to stay in Lima for the immediate future, with Joshua, the youngest, attending Apollo Career Center for heating, ventilation and air conditioning training and Michael, the oldest, studying information technology at The Ohio State University-Lima.
The brothers graduated from Temple Christian High School on Friday evening, a bittersweet day for the Engle family.
