The church is not new to hardship, challenges, or persecution. The Gospel message has always been able to penetrate hard hearts and transform broken lives. The challenging times we are living in today are no different from the past challenges the Gospel has always overcome.
On May 24 pastors and leaders from the North Atlantic and Chesapeake Districts gathered at Camp Conquest for a discussion designed to help the Church find the right voice as we navigate the racial tensions of 2022. Leadership from the Chesapeake District shared how they have worked hard to find racial reconciliation in their own churches and communities. Charis pastors spoke about their journey and how God’s Word has equipped them to lead in the face of adversity.
