Dear friends and family,
Praise God from whom all blessings flow. After a very long day and seven hours of surgery, I am very happy to let you all know that Gary’s surgery went very well.
The tumor had shrunk from, about the size from a golf ball size to penny size. It was removed and the reconstruction of the rectum was successful. The doctor says that after healing takes place all systems should work properly and the ostemy can be reversed.
Keep praying for his healing. He says he feels like he has been hit by a Mack truck–in a lot of pain, but the nurses had him up walking after he had been back in his room about 2 hours.
God bless you all for your prayers.
Love,
Jean for Gary
