Pastor Paul Mutchler of the Lanham (MD) Grace Brethren Church sends along the following update on the victims of the May van crash in Orlando, Fla. Lanham Christian School seniors were involved in a head-on crash on the fourth day of their senior trip.
Megan Matthews will walk for graduation! In fact, she has attended classes part-time this week. Very stiff, very sore, very tender, very thankful. Her total healing will take another six weeks, and it will be another six months “…until I can have fun…you know, sports, and riding roller coasters”! Praise God!
Jason Coleman will cradle his diploma in his two casts, but he, too, is thrilled to be back in class with the seniors. Aaron Harten and Kyle Schwarm will be working on the summer maintenance staff at LCS and Christine Singh is already back working as hostess at a College Park Diner near the University of Maryland.
Friday night, June 1, is the annual Senior Praise and Testimony Celebration. Always a sentimental and spiritual event, this year’s will be extra special.
Ms. Veronica Coleman continues to heal in Melbourne, Florida. A slow closing of her tracheotomy hole has delayed her transfer to a DC area hospital for therapy. Thank you for continuing to pray for her.
