On April 1, 2018, Wayne Hannah officially retired from ministry with Encompass World Partners, according to a prayer request sent recently.
Wayne served the organization with distinction for 35 years as a board member, regional director, and most recently as the senior director for special initiatives. He is a faithful servant who has traveled extensively, loved, served, and advised staff in a myriad of helpful ways. He did all of this in spite of dealing simultaneously with serious personal health issues. His never-complaining spirit and his rich biblical insights into God’s purposes in suffering have been an example and blessing to the entire Encompass family.
Like most of the Encompass retirees, retirement does NOT mean retirement from ministry. Wayne is currently serving at Grace Schools as a special advisor to the president for international impact, is active in his local church, and remains a valued friend and colleague of all of us here at Encompass.
