Central PA church offers ‘rent free’ building to pregnancy ministry

Waynesboro Grace, a central Pennsylvania church that serves the region, entered into an agreement with Pregnancy Ministries Incorporated to bring back an important part of ministry back to Waynesboro.
Since the 1970s, the church has owned a building and parking lot on the corner of 4th St. and S. Potomac in the borough affectionately known as the “old Patriot building.”
A few years ago, Waynesboro Grace began using the building for its weekly prayer meeting where parishioners gathered to ask God to increase their impact and love of the community. Beginning Oct. 25, it appears those prayers have been answered.
In speaking of how this agreement came about, pastor Timothy Clothier shares that he initially heard of PMI, leaving Waynesboro, via his church’s weekly email update.
“We have been praying for and annually involved in supporting PMI for years,” Clothier explained. “However, back in early 2020 their prayer requests changed. They needed both an executive director, and a new Waynesboro facility.”
