“One of the things I’ve learned in my years as an adult and in my experience in ministry is learning what I am not good at, is perhaps just as beneficial as learning what I am good at,” says Emily Tellez, wife of campus pastor of Grace Church in Atlanta, Ga., Carlos Tellez.
In the video below, Emily speaks about the importance of people using their gifts and skills to achieve the common goal of sharing the gospel.
“The mission of God is too important to leave anybody out,” she says, “When we join God in what He is doing, recognizing the areas in which we lack and where others shine, and we are committing to joining everyone together at the table, we can truly celebrate our unity in mission.”
