Do you enjoy reading this blog?
Of what value is it to you?
Why is it worth your time to log on and read it?
The Editor’s Blog is approaching its second birthday–we began blogging in May of 2004 (every post since then is still available in the archives), and thought a little “roundup story” on peoples’ reaction to it would be nice for FGBC World.
Here is part of what we posted in that very first blog entry on May 14, 2004 at 2:29 p.m.:
This rainy Friday afternoon in Winona Lake, Indiana marks two beginnings. The first is BMH’s entry into the blogosphere with this post. Hopefully, this can become a tool to connect people and churches of the FGBC in ways that are mutually helpful and really help advance the Great Commission teamwork . . . God is good–and now we have a new communication tool to explore using for His glory.
So…if you would be kind enough to give us your evaluation on how well we’re achieving that goal, I’d be happy for you to comment on the blog or to e-mail me direct at tdwhite@earthlink.net. It would be nice to have your name and church or location to use along with the comment, unless you prefer not to be identified.
A reminder: BMH’s purpose statement is “To nurture Great Commission teamwork among the people and churches of the FGBC by building bridges of communication.” This is one of those bridges. How well are we doing, and how could we improve?
Thanks.
In my opinion, whatever it might be worth, I think your blog is perhaps the most important item published in making us aware of what is happening in the GB Fellowship. You are more then fair in allowing various opinions and as one put it, " When the news is sad, like a death, we can pray..." But most often the news is simply informative. Thank you for the time you spend and please keep the news coming. God bless you.
