The Grace Brethren Church in Wooster, Ohio (Bob Fetterhoff, Pastor; Bob Doerr, Nick Cleveland, Josh Atkins, Student Ministries) recently broke ground for the church’s new 34,000 square foot Student Ministry and Activity Center. (article and photo courtesy Katrina Miller)
Hard hats were donned and shovels were turned as members of all ages came out to celebrate together. Before the groundbreaking ceremony, students outlined the new building and prayed for the students in the community that might someday walk through the doors of the new facility.
The primary role of the new addition will be to facilitate the growing need for Student Ministry space, as well as adding rooms for Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF’s), creating space for the Children’s Ministry, supplying art and music offices for Wooster Christian School, and providing room during the week for the Seniors/Legacy Ministry.
The project is expected to be finished in early fall of 2008.
